Meet Chip! A sensible, good-minded, and good-looking 3 yr. Old quarter horse gelding currently stands 14.1 hh at the withers and 14.2 hh at the hip. He still has much growing to do, with the string test showing that he should mature to at least 14.3 hh. Chip has solid foundational training on him on the ground and under the saddle. He rides on a loose rein at all gaits and willingly gives to the bit when asked for a soft feel. Chip is very maneuverable on the ground as well as under the saddle. With his solid foundation and easy-going personality, he can be ridden bridleless as confidently as he can with a bridle. Chip is hobble broke and will stand tied like a gentleman. He ground ties for tacking up and bathing and is good for the farrier. Chip is gentle and friendly with adults, children, and other animals. He has been roped off of as well. Chip is not buddy or barn sour at all; he is perfectly content being with his person wherever that may be.
More Skills: bows, picks you up for mounting, started on liberty training, Trail rides alone and rides on the road, leg yield at a walk and trot, stops off seat, loads/unloads, easy to catch, can be easily handled by children.
