Have you always wanted a spotted draft? Here is a chance to own a wonderful and very pretty registered spotted draft filly. Heartland is a very pretty 4-year-old filly and stands at 16.2 hands and will still grow a little, given her young age. Heartland is a very gentle and friendly horse used to being around kids, adults, and many different animals. She is a huge cuddle bug and loves being loved and around people. You can groom her for hours or bathe her – she loves the attention. She is also great for vets and farriers. Everybody loves her.
We have raised Heartland, who has been started under saddle here with us and has been a joy to work with. She has been an easy horse to teach. We have yet to find something she is afraid of. Any new things she encounters, she meets with curiosity, not fear. Heartland has been ridden Western, English, and barback and has been on many long trail rides. Heartland loves to go on trail rides, venture out on the ranch with her human, and ride alone or with other horses. She has shown to be extremely surefooted and is a nice, light ride with comfortable gaits. She has a nice headset, relaxed back, and stays quiet, ring or trail, but you won’t have to ask her twice for anything. She would make an excellent candidate for a hunt horse. She has been exposed to everything you could imagine, including dogs, cars, tractors, ATVs, chainsaws, tarps, balls, umbrellas, cattle, poles, etc. Since we start our horses out in a halter when we first ride them, she has retained a soft mouth to a bit. She moves off your leg easily and responds to a soft hand, will turn and bend around your leg, and has started dressage, showing potential for the upper level with the right future training. Heartland is a flashy mover with a beautiful extended trot, nice transitions, and an exceptional canter that is very smooth, relaxed, and balanced with a natural steady rhythm for her age – you won’t want to stop cantering her. Heartland is a very respectful and well-behaved horse. She is very willing to do anything she is asked. Her sweet personality and young age will make her bond easily with her new owner, and she will look for you when you come to her pasture. Heartland easily loads and unloads in the trailer and will stand tied all day. She also stands at the mounting block perfectly or when you mount from the ground from either side in the ring or out in the country. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own this wonderful horse.
