Description
This filly is the real deal - beautiful, stout, correct, and a super disposition! She is as correct as she can be, moves like the athlete she should be, and we expect that she will make an outstanding reining prospect! An early filly, she should have no trouble being ready to show when the time comes - she will turn heads wherever she goes! 5 panel negative, enrolled in NRHA/NRBC.
Her genetic testing is back, and she is black base with a cream gene - smoky black, also, she is HZ for W20...and 5 panel neg, but knew that due to sire/dam being 5 panel neg
Vintage Black Pearl has one Red allele and one Black allele, indicating the base coat color appears Black. One Cream
allele was detected which may dilute base coat color, possibly appearing Smokey Black on a Black base. Two Dominant
white 20 alleles were detected which may result in White markings. As a result of the allele count in each of the following,
she has a minimum 50% chance of passing Red or Black, and 50% Cream, and 100% Dominant White 20 to any offspring.
Allele

Bruce has specialized in starting, training, and showing reining horses since 1986. He is an NRHA Res. World CH, multiple Futurity finalist, World CH finalists, Regional CH, State CH, etc. His non pros have been qualified for Regional Finals many times, World Ch, and his horses have won multiple year end awards for their owners in the Open and Non Pro venues.
Michelle, or Shelly, as most people know her, runs a full service, custom saddle shop at the ranch. A rawhide braider most of her life, she also makes the custom saddles and show tack, chaps, working gear, and personal items, down to spur straps, belts, and business card holders - visitors are always welcome to stop in the shop and see some of the work she is doing. She also helps out by handling the photography, marketing, and editing of video, pics, etc, for the Stable and her own business, as well as taking care of the billing. She also shows a non pro horse now and then, as time allows!
Bruce's parents, Doris and Speck, have been an integral part of his success over the years - they help out wherever they can, and are a mainstay at our home and the facility.
The facility offers a 20 stall barn, most stalls are 10x23, all are matted, with a misting system, timed lighting, auto waterers, and pine shavings. An indoor arena, round pen, track and riding trails round out the facility. Centrally located in N Texas, Bruce is 50 miles to the Will Rogers Complex in Ft Worth, and 3 hrs to OKC. Now accepting a few aged event horses for Open level competition, and Non Pros - aged events to weekend shows - give Bruce a call today, come on out and visit us - it's reining in Mineral Wells!!
