Everyone, meet Scarlet’s Black Jack, a 10-year-old Friesian quarter horse cross mare standing 16.2 hands. Scarlet is a one-of-a-kind mare. She is the same horse whenever you go out to catch her in or out of the stall. She is easy to shoe, slip, bathe, tack, and catch. She will stand for mounting and dismounting; Scarlet will stay soft in the face, jog around slowly, and stay collected up nicely. She will ride on a loose rein, has a nice extended jog, and canter right off when asked. She has been around ranch work, been trail-ridden, driven in parade and wagon trains, and is traffic-safe. Scarlet will cross big and small bodies of water without hesitation. When driving her, she will be back in the shaves with no problem, and one man can hook her by himself. This mare is safe for any level of rider, from beginner to advanced. She is a more whoa-than-go type of mare but will step up and ride without hesitation. If you’re looking for a family horse everyone can get along with, she is the one for you. She has been on many overnight camping trips and stands great on a tie line. She loads and unloads well, so do not miss out on this exceptional mare. She has started lying down and sitting up and is doing an outstanding job with that as well.
